Growing Through Service in Meaningful Ministries
We grow in faith and develop Christ-like character as we serve others. Join us as we strive to serve and uplift our congregation and the wider community through a diverse range of ministries. No matter your age or background, there's a ministry here to help you connect with others, grow to be more like Christ Jesus, and serve with purpose.
We nurture young hearts and minds with the grace of God and the love of Christ. Through interactive lessons, creative activities, and discussions, we affirm each identity as children of God who are loved, treasured and gifted. Rooted in Christ Jesus, they are equipped to bear a lifetime of good works.
Join us each Sunday as we embark on a journey of discovery, friendship, and spiritual growth.
Youth Group offers a space for personal growth, worship, and shared experiences. With a range of events, service projects, and outings, we create an environment where teens can grow in their relationship with God while having a blast.
We are pleased to provide a nurturing and safe nursery environment at King of Kings during our services. We understand the importance of accommodating families with young children, allowing parents to engage fully in worship and study while their little ones are cared for.
Confirmation is designed to help young people (typically 7th and 8th graders) explore their faith. In many cases the confirmands learn to 'own their faith.' That is, they become convinced by the Holy Spirit (in light of God's Word) that the Christian faith is true. Questions, doubts and fears are handled with compassion and humility. Honestly, we all have them, and they are best answered and addressed within the confines of a caring, Christian community.
American Heritage Girls (AHG) is a faith-based, non-denominational, Girl Scout-type character development program for girls. The AHG Program is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. AHG girls participate in badge programs, service projects, leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences, all with an emphasis on Christian values and family involvement.

King of Kings participates in the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML). Our local group is a member of the Atlanta Zone and known as Agape Women. There are no official membership requirements or dues, and all women attending King of Kings are welcome and encouraged to join all events.
LWML is an official auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Since 1942, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions.
King of Kings holds a women's bible study every 2nd and 4th Thursday that is organized by the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. You do not need to be a member of King of Kings to attend. If you are interested in studying God's word or building fellowship with others women in Christ we would love to meet you.
A hearty breakfast. Honest conversation. A helpful reminder of God's love for us in Christ Jesus, who created us to live life to the fullest.
On the 3rd Saturday of each month, the men of King of Kings (their friends, too!) gather for breakfast, fellowship and an in-depth look at God's Word. The goal is to encourage one another in our walk of faith so that we can live well and finish strong. We are better together!

Sharing God’s love with those in need. Not only during the holiday season, but any time of the year can be sad and stressful for friends or family members going thru a difficult time such as a critical illness, recent death of loved one, worrying about upcoming surgery and so on. Members of our Angels of Hope committee send angels, prayers, and messages to people to let them know that God loves them and they are not alone. Anyone may request an angel for their friends or family during such worrying times.
Join in the "King of Kings Knitting/Crocheting Prayer Shawl Ministry" as we come together on the third Thursday of every month at 10:00 a.m. Our mission is to create beautiful prayer shawls, handcrafted with love and devotion, that serve as powerful instruments of comfort and vessels of God's grace. Through our ministry, we extend warmth, solace, and spiritual connection to those in need, spreading the message of hope and healing one stitch at a time. Come and be a part of this ministry as we knit and crochet our way to bringing comfort and God's grace to those who need it most. Whether you're an experienced crafter or a novice, all hands are welcome to join in this purposeful and uplifting ministry.
We cordially invite you to join us at the church on Wednesday evenings once a month to participate in cutting patterns and materials. These will be taken home for sewing. We are also seeking volunteers to cut or sew items at home. Our sewing projects include shorts for boys, as well as shorts, tops, and dresses for girls. Additionally, we sew bears, dolls, and drawstring bags. All patterns and materials will be provided. The completed items are destined for OCC (Operation Christmas Child) shoeboxes.
